Job Description
We are a multi-disciplinary consulting firm providing clients with comprehensive design and engineering expertise. We are seeking an entry-level Engineer-in-Training to join our team on a wide range of projects for public and private clients. Project tasks include the design of roadways, stormwater systems, sanitary sewer and potable water systems, and erosion prevention and sediment control measures. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently while ensuring attention to detail. In this role, client interaction occurs regularly, and excellent communication skills are required.
ResponsibilitiesConduct civil and commercial site development design, roadway design, stormwater calculations, design reports, and cost estimates.Perform site analysis and preliminary studies, design calculations and reports, develop construction plans and specifications, cost estimations, and permit applications.Collaborate effectively with a project team.Express strong verbal and written communication skills.Learn and appreciate feedback and performance evaluations.Essential SkillsB.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification required, close to PE is a plus.1 year of relevant experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software, Hydraflow, and other software packages.Capability to use Microsoft Office suite with excellent communication skills.Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow, and complete tasks.Strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent time management skills.Ethical and professional in manner, attitude, and dress.Valid Driver’s License and qualification under company auto insurance program.Ability to pass a drug test.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in site development, subdivision design, and civil site design.Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.Client service-oriented, self-starter, and team player.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
