Job Description
My Client is looking for a Civil Engineer to liaise between various departments on this large project.
Main Activities:
- Produce reactive and quality technical answers to requests raised by the CW contractor to secure the fastest construction progress on site.
- Check and review technical answers and deliverables previously issued by the back office teams and updated by the JDO team (client staff and engineering subcontractor working on the detailed design)
- Manage the priorities and drive the activities of the engineering contractor
- Interact with client back office regarding civil design interfaces
- Interact within the Joint Design Office (JDO) organisation with client (project and intelligent customer) in order to support the overall project
- Interact within the JDO with the other disciplines in order to support the overall project
- Support the team management regarding the overall needs of the civil team (technical assessment, inputs clarification, coordination, etc).
- Look over the continuity and the consistency of the design modified by the JDO team
- Ensure that methods, referential, tools, process and delegated authority from client back-office teams are complied with
Qualifications
Qualifications and experience:
Essential:
Knowledge of Structural Civil Works,
Civil Design and Construction Experience in Nuclear civil work or complex structures
Experience in design of concrete structures
Experience in detailed design or conceptual design in an office or on a civil construction site
