As a Civil Engineer Designer (CED), supporting our Site\/Land Development Engineering Team in our Santa Ana, CA office at Psomas, you'll utilize your education and experience to contribute work performed on Site\/Land Development and public works projects while working in a team-oriented setting and interacting with clients. The Santa Ana Engineering team is dynamic group of seasoned professionals. Responsibility Highlights for our Civil Engineer Designer - Site\/Land Development\n\nWork under close supervision, providing support to a project team on a broad range of projects in residential, municipal or commercial sites\nHelp with the development of projects and conventional aspects of Engineering\nProviding necessary design, coordination and follow up on work to ensure quality standards are met, efficiency levels are maintained, as well as client satisfaction\nSupport the development of technical reports, calculations, cost\/quantity estimates, and specifications\nResearch and analysis, hydraulics, hydrology, water\/sewer\/drainage, street design, and grading\nCalculate earthwork\/retaining wall grades\nDesign using AutoCAD and Civil3D software\nRely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions\nSupport other team members as needed\n\n

Minimum Qualifications to be our Civil Engineer Designer - Site\/Land Development\n\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university\nMinimum of 1+ years of experience in civil engineering and design (entry level candidates with ideal qualifications may also be considered) \nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D\nProficiency in MS Office Suite\nDemonstrating an organized work approach and willingness to ask questions\nAbility to adapt with changing priorities\nSelf-motivated to work on individual tasks and in a team environment\nMust be able to communicate with verbal and written clarity\n\n

Preferred Qualifications for our Civil Engineer Designer - Site\/Land Development\n\nEIT Certification (or can obtain within 2 years of hire)\nENV SP (or can obtain within 2 years of hire)\n\n
