About being our Civil Engineer Designer - Traffic \n

As an Entry Level Civil Engineer Designer - Traffic, supporting our Tucson, AZ office, you will assist with traffic projects for public, private, and institutional clients. You will work with fellow team members and supervisors to provide all necessary modeling, design, analysis, coordination, and follow-up on the work to ensure quality standards are met, efficiency levels are maintained, and clients are satisfied. You will have the opportunity to work on traffic engineering projects and traffic aspects of larger projects such as complete streets, arterial corridors, traffic interchanges and bicycle boulevards. Work may include traffic modeling, traffic impact studies, traffic reports for roadway projects, safety studies, parking studies, signal timing and coordination, planning efforts, grant funding applications, signing and striping design, and traffic signal design.\n

Responsibility Highlights for our Civil Engineer Designer - Traffic\n\nProviding support to the project team for traffic engineering projects and traffic aspects of larger projects\nCreatively thinking of solutions or alternatives for challenging engineering issues\nPreparing traffic reports for roadway projects, safety studies, traffic impact studies\nUnderstand client goals and communicate effectively with an attention to client satisfaction\nOrganizing and executing technical aspects of project assignments.\nMaintaining project files and project documents\n\n

Minimum Qualifications to be our Civil Engineer Designer - Traffic\n\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.\n1-5 years of traffic engineering experience with consulting firm or agency\nTechnical knowledge in traffic engineering with proven experience in preparing technical reports and computations\nProficient in MS Office Suite\nStrong oral and written communication skills\n\n

Preferred Qualifications to be our Civil Engineer Designer - Traffic\n\nGraduate degree with emphasis on Traffic Engineering\nEngineer-in-Training certification\nExperience with Synchro\/SimTraffic and\/or VISSIM\n\n
