Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exciting opportunity for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on transportation projects starting May/June 2026 and ending in August/September 2026 in our Bloomington, MN office.

 

The intern will be responsible for assisting engineers, design technicians, and surveyors with civil and transportation engineering projects, including:

Assisting with engineering drawings, plan preparation, and project reportsPerforming design calculations, quantities, and cost estimatesPerforming field inspection, documentation, and survey workTechnical research and writingOther tasks as assigned.

 

The successful candidate must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in engineering from an accredited college or university.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following: 

Experience with Microsoft Office and CAD softwareConstruction Field Experience including observation and documentationSurvey tasksCivil/survey engineering coursework
