We are actively seeking a Civil Staff Engineer II to join our dedicated team of professionals in Cranberry Township, PA. As a Civil Staff Engineer II, you will be mentored in a team-oriented atmosphere alongside Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other Staff Professionals to successfully complete civil engineering design projects that improve communities within a variety of markets. This experience will expose you to the entire project cycle from planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction. You will be mentored by a diverse staff to grow your professional skill set through both on the job and structured trainings.  Work opportunities at this position include, but are not limited to:  

Complete designs of various projects including stormwater, utility, roadway, site design, and parks and recreation projectsPlan preparation - site layout, utility plans, profiles, and site detailsPreparing stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, and other calculations/reports required for project permits and approvals Complete engineering proposalsDEP Permits including NPDES, MS4 Stormwater, General and Joint PermittingPrepare project cost estimating for projects Land Development Plan ReviewsPrepare project manuals and construction specificationsProject Bidding and Construction ServicesGreen Infrastructure DesignClient Interaction and Meeting ParticipationInfrastructure Replacement and RehabilitationPavement Rehabilitation Requirements

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering E.I.T. Certification Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Hydraflow Storm Sewers (or other similar stormwater modeling programs), and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team/collaborative environment Previous experience with a consulting engineering firm or similar experience. (3-5 years of experience a plus, preferably with tasks that includes: Preparing drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sedimentation control calculations and reports required for project permits and approvals Project manuals, construction specifications, and contract administration Report writing  Experience in subdivision and land development ordinances for municipal plan reviews Ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary (Valid US Driver's License is required)Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
