Summary: Seeking a Civil Engineer specialized in roadway design and transportation projects for a 12-18 month contract.
Requirements:
BS in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
PE License
5+ years of experience in transportation
DOT experience
Proficiency with HCS, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, CORSIM, VISSIM, CUBE, TransCAD, Microstation software tools
Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Skills:
Experience on projects in Kentucky or Ohio
Bridge project experience
Responsibilities:
Conduct work on transportation projects including traffic operations and safety, roadway and bridge design
Manage the preparation of engineering reports, plans and specifications for projects
Review preliminary and final plans and technical specifications; make recommendations for modifications as necessary
Participate in contract bidding and administration if needed
Supervise project design progress and coordinate with City, State and County officials and other agencies
Supervise junior engineers or technical support personnel assigned to the project
Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff
Communicate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies as appropriate
Resolve complex problems related to design requirements or coordination issues
Pay: 45-55

Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
