Overview Assists civil engineers to plan and design constructions. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS · Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. · Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. · At least three (3) years of experience in a related field. COMPETENCIES · Ability to work as part of a team. · Oral and written communication skills. · Design expertise. · Computer skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee may occasionally lift 25 to more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to correct/adjust focus.
