**Job Description:** **Civil Inspector (Roads & Utlities)** **Dubai, UAE** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Civil** **Inspector** to join our team! In this role you will get to **performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.** **What You'll Be Doing:** + Construction Supervision of roads, utilities and other associated improvements + Verification of the material and quality control of all activities carried out on the Project. + Daily, weekly and monthly progress reporting to the office. + monitoring the sampling and testing procedure, ensure the tests are conducted as per the specification. + Ensure all works are carried out as per the approved drawings, specification and other contract documents. + identify non-conformance if any and issuing NCRs. + verification of quantities claimed by the Contractor and approve + Implement standard ITPs ​ **In addition:** + Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations and writes daily diaries. + Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract + Verifies that only approved materials are incorporated in the work. + Performs labor compliance interviews and maintains as-built plans. + Recognizes potential conflicts, issues and problems, and reports to supervisor with proposed solution. + May provide technical guidance to lower-level inspectors. + Coordinates work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing. + Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports. + Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures. + Reports on installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work. ​ **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + **3- Years Diploma or Bachelor'** s **degree in Civil Engineering** . + **Minimum 5+ years** of experience in **construction supervision** of **infrastructure** **projects including r** **oad works, utilities** within UAE **.** + Ability to read and interpret drawings, construction specifications and processes related to civil inspection. + Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently. **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
