Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an Engineering Manager (Civil Lead) who'll be responsible for leading and managing the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of a civil aviation project.

This role involves overseeing all engineering activities, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The Engineering Manager will work closely with project managers, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of aviation projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

Oversee the design and development of civil aviation projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Develop and implement engineering strategies, plans, and procedures to achieve project objectives.

Coordinate with project managers to ensure engineering activities align with project schedules and budgets.

Conduct regular reviews of engineering designs, plans, and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy.

Manage resource allocation and ensure the engineering team has the necessary tools and resources to complete projects.

Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.

Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.

Ensure all engineering activities adhere to safety and environmental regulations.

Support the development of technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and guidelines.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering management, preferably within the civil aviation industry.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification to ensure Saudi Council of Engineering registration & certification.

Strong understanding of civil aviation regulations, standards, and best practices.

Proven experience in managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to civil aviation projects.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Previous experience with large-scale civil engineering projects.

Knowledge of advanced engineering technologies and methodologies.
