Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
+ Manage and lead design for public infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of nine full-time engineers within the survey, design, and material testing departments. You will be responsible for creating planning meetings, designing layouts for capital improvement projects, developing budgets and schedules, and possibly serving as Project Manager for city-designed projects. The position focuses more on supervision rather than production.
Responsibilities

+ Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
+ Serve as Project Manager for city-designed projects.
+ Supervise and oversee survey, design, and material testing.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD
+ Proficiency in Civil 3D
+ Experience in civil engineering and design
+ Experience in site and land development
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in overseeing and guiding engineering teams
+ Ability to develop budgets and schedules
+ Experience with public infrastructure projects
Work Environment
The candidate will work in the office three days a week and can work remotely for two days a week. The initial interview will be conducted over the phone or virtually, with a subsequent on-site interview. There is significant opportunity for growth in this role, with the position being open due to growth and promotions.
