Maxwell-Reddick and Associates, a Pape-Dawson Company, is seeking a full-time Civil Project Engineer based in our Alpharetta, GA office. This position is responsible for assisting or leading civil site project design and production, client coordination and communication, stormwater management design, and permitting on a wide range of residential and commercial projects. The Civil Project Engineer will collaborate in-house with licensed civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing commercial and residential projects in the public and private sectors. Responsibilities Assist a Project Manager in the production of project plans, specifications, and cost estimatesDevelop feasible design alternatives and compare significant parameters such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements and costIdentify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project’s purpose and needUse computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documentsPrepare written technical reports and engineering studies using approved company formatDirect production work of engineering techniciansAdditional related duties as needed

 

Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering3-6+ years of professional experience in site designAutoCAD Civil 3D experienceExperience with entitlements and permitting for local jurisdictionsEffective oral and written communicationGeorgia EI/EIT or ability to achieve by reciprocity

 

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Metro Atlanta jurisdictions, including entitlements and zoning along with permitting processes and proceduresGSWCC Level 2 Certification or ability to achieve within six months
