Bring your engineering passion, collaboration, and expertise to HGA! We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Civil Project Engineer to join our Milwaukee, Wisconsin team working on a variety of project types around the country.
In this role you will: Work independently to complete civil engineering responsibilities and coordinate activities with the integrated A/E project teamCollaborate with the Discipline Director and project team to provide quality service and solutions in response to the client's needs and project schedulePrepare design and documentation of project solutions consistent with HGA’s criteria and practicesCommunicate with regulatory authorities and prepare required documentation to obtain site plan approvals and permitsComplete civil engineering design tasks including roadway layout, parking layout, pavement design, site grading, storm water management design and report writings, site utility design, and building utility service connectionsMake computations using engineering principles as required for civil design tasks such as earthwork volumes, storm water discharge, storm water management design, utility pipe sizing and pavement designEdit site work specification sectionsProvide construction phase services including site visits, respond to bidders, review submittals, review change orders and prepare punch lis You will need to have: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited program: licensed professional engineer strongly preferredA minimum 8 years of experience in the design of site improvements for commercial, government, healthcare, or higher education project typesDemonstrated ability in the design of site improvements for complex projectsExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM/MIDS and Microsoft Office Suite Salary Information:
The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,100.
