Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Civil Project Manager to lead our estimating department with a focus on creating accurate 3D CAD models and performing material takeoffs for various civil sitework projects. The role involves supporting equipment operators and setting up GPS on equipment while also providing training. Prior experience with Trimble Business Center and GPS equipment is preferred.
ResponsibilitiesLead the estimating department without directly handling numbers.Create accurate 3D CAD models and perform material takeoffs for estimating.Assist equipment operators on various civil sitework projects.Work in the field, setting up GPS on equipment and providing necessary training.Essential SkillsProficiency in civil engineering and project management.Experience with AutoCAD and civil design.Knowledge of construction, estimating software, and civil project management.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed design work.Experience with GIS software for spatial data analysis.Knowledge of construction safety protocols for on-site compliance.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.Familiarity with estimating software for project planning and cost estimation.Proven experience in leading projects to successful completion.Work Environment
The position starts onsite with the opportunity to work 2-3 days a week hybrid after sufficient training. Attendance in the office is required during bidding processes. Our company is small to mid-sized, based out of Glenwood, Iowa, with most projects located in Omaha. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
