Job Overview:

The Quality Supervisor (Production) is responsible for enhancing inspection processes using industry best practices and internal expertise. They will serve as a resource for less-experienced colleagues, sharing both conceptual and practical knowledge of quality inspection. This role involves problem-solving, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and collaborating across teams to maintain product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise quality control activities to verify product compliance with customer specifications through independent inspections and tests, following the Project Quality Plan. Identify and address non-conformities, ensuring their resolution. Lead and participate in inspection activities to maintain high-quality standards. Work with the Project Quality Manager to allocate resources for prevention and appraisal while ensuring the effectiveness of quality procedures. Initiate evaluations for non-conforming items and oversee corrective actions. Develop Project Quality Plans, Inspection, and Test Plans in consultation with the Project Quality Manager. Coordinate with subcontractors and customers to resolve quality issues efficiently. Assess product quality per the Project Construction Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan, and other quality guidelines. Interpret and enforce code specifications and customer requirements, documenting deviations through formal procedures. Collaborate with Operations, Certifying Authorities, Clients, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications. Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of QC inspectors and improve inspection performance. Take a proactive approach to preventing quality issues by working closely with production, engineering, and management teams. Interface with customer representatives to confirm product conformity and obtain stage releases per the Project Quality Plan.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or degree in a relevant field. 10+ years of experience in Quality Control or a related discipline. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
