Job Description Insight Global is hiring a Civil/Structural Engineer for an oil and gas operator in Houston and will join a team of 5 in the Engineering and Construction department. The Civil/Structural Engineer will play a key role in supporting the clients mission to operate safely and reliably. This involves understanding and evaluating structures within the facility, working closely with the Engineering Services team to provide civil/structural expertise and quality assurance reviews of engineering work packages (EWP) and deliverables. This role will provide senior level support on brownfield projects of varying complexity with limited supervision. Responsibilities for this position include the following:  Provide civil/structural engineering support for facility-wide improvement initiatives as part of a multi-discipline engineering team, including occasional field support to survey structural repairs/modifications  Review and approve engineering work packages and detailed contractor deliverables  Participate in model reviews and risk assessment workshops (MOCs and PSSRs)  Provide guidance on technical inquiries, dispense technical recommendations, and support the advancement of civil/structural engineering work processes We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
