Job Description
This role will support a Data Center and will be based onsite. The Civil Superintendent is responsible for hands-on daily site management of heavy civil and public roadway construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate should have direct knowledge and experience in all aspects of earthwork, subgrade preparation, asphalt pavement of roads, parking lots, and subdivisions with different mix designs, fog seal, crack seal, milling and pulverizing; concrete valley gutter, fillets, sidewalk, handicap ramps; all aspects of underground wet utility installation including but not limited to storm, water, and sewer. A minimum of 10 years of construction supervisory experience is preferred. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle history record that meets company insurance requirements. The role involves daily collaboration with onsite inspectors to measure and reconcile quantities.
ResponsibilitiesReview, understand, and implement construction project documents such as contracts, plans, specifications, drawings, job layout, as-built, and quantity books.Determine manpower and equipment needs, project scheduling, personnel hiring, equipment maintenance, tool and material requirements, and manage subcontractors.Assist with time and record keeping - timely and accurately maintain and complete quantity records and time cards using software tools.Maintain and keep current all construction documents including change orders, schedules, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, daily diaries, and quantity books.Perform other tasks assigned by the Project Manager or other Operations Management.Drive a motor vehicle safely to job sites, attend meetings, and perform the responsibilities of the position.Ensure that project safety measures are maintained at all times.Work with the pre-construction team to understand project requirements and budgets.Essential SkillsProject managementConstruction managementChange order managementRFI managementProject coordinationDesignAutoCADProject engineeringDocument controlSite developmentProcoreProject trackingProfit & loss managementSpectrumCivil engineeringCivil 3DGradingDevelopmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 4 years relevant construction management experience in the industrial arena.At least 3 years of experience as a lead civil superintendent.Proficiency with a variety of related computer software applications including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word).Ability to read and interpret construction documents.High level of emotional intelligence with the ability to build relationships and work with multiple personality types.Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record in accordance with company policy.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
