Our client, a leader in the civil engineering sector, is seeking a Civil Technician CAD Operator to join their team. As a Civil Technician CAD Operator, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Civil Technician CAD Operator
**Location:** Wilson
**Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00**
**What's the Job?**
+ Utilize AutoCAD and Carlson Software to produce topographic maps, site plans, and other technical drawings.
+ Interpret survey data and field notes to create accurate representations of land features, boundaries, and infrastructure.
+ Collaborate with surveyors, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and local regulations.
+ Prepare construction plans for roads, drainage systems, and utility layouts.
+ Verify the accuracy of CAD drawings by cross-referencing survey data and engineering guidelines.
**What's Needed?**
+ Associate degree or certification in CAD drafting, civil technology, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CAD Operator, preferably within a surveying or civil engineering environment.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Carlson Software is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of land surveying principles and civil engineering design.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
