ERM is looking to add an enthusiastic Document Formatting and Design Professional to our team in Bogota, Colombia. Our deliverables must adhere to our standard formatting guidelines, and we are in need of a professional with extensive knowledge and experience with formatting in Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF). Therefore, this candidate must be able to support document creation, preparation, and control tasks to help ensure deliverables are uniform, consistent, and "client ready".
At ERM, we understand that creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment is essential to making our company a great place to build a career.
The ideal candidate will have at least some experience with digital/graphic design to help create graphics and business development materials in both Spanish and English or translate existing materials from one language to the other.
Technical or consulting knowledge is not required (though it could be a distinguishing factor).
Currently, work is done in a hybrid format (at least 1 day in the office per week), so a reliable internet connection is a must when working remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work closely with project teams to support QA/QC review and production of technical deliverables, business proposals, and other marketing materials.
· Perform editorial review and formatting of technical documents (text, spreadsheets, slide decks) in accordance with ERM company and client-specific style guidelines.
· Create and/or edit documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
· Manage multiple deadline-driven assignments.
· Complete work assignments in accordance with ERM's management system, and format and quality standards, on schedule.
· Provide limited translation support from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English.
· Provide regular training to local project staff in ERM document quality standards and report writing best practices.
