Claim Analyst III (Policy Aggregate)

How you will create an impact This position is responsible for analyzing policy limits and the application of the limits to claims. The team ensures claim payments are within the policy limits and reports any impairments to adjust reserves. This position will work with various claim teams to review coding of claims to ensure they meet the policy coverage. Additionally, the candidate will work with TPA’s to review potential policy impairment and resolutions. Key responsibilities: + Handles all assigned files according to Best Practice/Procedural guidelines. + Maintains database to reflect the most recent file activity. + Researches, understands, and applies Aggregate Rules that relate to each file/request. + Monitors case financial development and settlement to ensure that Aggregate Limits are preserved. + Reviews and Releases, within established guidelines and authority, Indemnity and Legal payments + Identifies Potential benefits and pursues required corrective activity with appropriate contacts, post Benefit on resolution. + Prepares for and attends claims financial review sessions as requested. + Oversees Aggregate Limit application for all aggregated coverage types; acts as subject matter expert. + Completes assigned transaction reviews, for daily SARBOX Audit Review Assignments + Provides customer service assistance to outside organizations and AIG Claim Operation management on Request. + Promotes/fosters a strong and improving relationship between claims and recovery personnel and all clients. + Promotes ongoing knowledge improvement regards Aggregate applications and interpretation. What you'll need to succeed + Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft office including excel and word. + Preferred active Adjuster License and insurance knowledge. + Ability to analyze complex data to assess compliance with policy limits. + Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of internal and external customers/inquiry. + Demonstrate superior communication skills and the ability to document finding to support aggregate impairment review and Sox findings. + Advanced organizational skills to maintain standardized reporting and documentation. + Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable resolutions. + Ability to work under tight deadlines and flexibility of changing priorities. #LI-AIG #claimsprofessionals #claims #claimsadjuster Enjoy benefits that take care of what matters At AIG, our people are our greatest asset.
