As a Health and Accident Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing health and accident claims, estimating costs for medical services, and providing support to both customers and hospitals. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication and coordination between all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Assessment: Evaluate health and accident claims received via fax from hospitals during the admission process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy terms.
Cost Estimation: Assess and estimate costs for prearranged medical services, including surgeries and special investigations.
Customer and Hospital Support: Address inquiries, handle escalations, and resolve complaints from customers and hospitals efficiently.
Coordination: Manage coordination tasks between customers, hospitals, and third-party insurance companies to ensure seamless service delivery.
Performance Reviews and Training: Engage in performance reviews, coaching, and training sessions to enhance personal and team performance.
Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to the leadership team.
Scheduling Adherence: Follow assigned rosters and schedules to meet business needs.
Additional Duties: Perform any additional tasks as required by management.
Work Conditions:
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, with shifts between 08:00 AM and 05:00 PM. Working Days: 5 days per week, Monday to Sunday, including public holidays. Public Holiday Compensation: Loss of public holidays according to the Thai calendar will be compensated with additional leaves, if applicable.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 6 months in health claims industry. Experience within hospitals, clinics, or insurance claims departments is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a health or medical-related field such as nursing, physiotherapy, paramedics, or similar.
Skills: Strong people management, interpersonal communication, coaching, attention to detail, problem-solving, multi-tasking, time management, and analytical skills.
Attributes: Demonstrates customer and market excellence, collaborative leadership, entrepreneurship, and trust.
Other Qualities: Positive and flexible team player, eager to contribute to a dynamic customer service team.
