As aninjury claims adjuster,you’ll play a critical role managing complex attorney represented bodily injury (BI) claims for customers with small businesses or commercial product policies. An ideal candidate will have experience working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for a meeting and/or training. If you are interested, you’ll also have the option to work a hybrid or full-time office schedule depending on your location.
Duties responsibilities
Determines coverage and liabilityNegotiate with claimants or their attorneysSettle claims and set reservesEstimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidentsAnalyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolutionInterview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and policeMust-have qualifications
Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling OROne year in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree ORThree years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling and an associate degreePreferred skills
