Claims Adjuster - Medical Pay
As a claimsadjuster on our team, you’ll work closely with customers, attorneys, and medical providers while making adjustments to medical claims. Ideal candidates for this role will possess medical knowledge and investigative skills, which will be useful while analyzing the cause of injury, the potential for fraud, along with coverage and liability. Additionally, you’ll perform policy research and interpret medical records to ensure payment accuracy.Duties ResponsibilitiesIdentify and address wage exposures on medical claimsReview and research wage loss expenses and documentation for payment considerationReview and interpret policy language when receiving a subrogation demand to determine if reimbursement is owed

Must-have qualifications

Two or more years of college education or relevant work experienceWork or educational experience must include:Customer service, sales and/or influencing othersFast paced and changing environmentMultitasking and time management skillsEffectively communicating verbally and in writingComputer skills

Compensation

$46,500/year ($22.35/hour) - $52,800/year ($25.38/hour). Non-exempt position.Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance.
