CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese's and Peter Piper Pizza restaurants, is seeking a Claims Administrator to join our dynamic Risk team! This exciting and service-oriented opportunity is based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, Texas.

Essential Functions of the Position:

•   Meet our Support Center objectives which include… “If you are not serving the Guest, serve someone who is” and “consistently deliver an awesome family friendly experience so that every guest leaves happy.”

•   Investigate General Liability claims and incidents by effectively executing claims handling practices in accordance with departmental standards and procedures with minimal to no supervision.  Resolve guests’ complaints, issues and claims in a fair and equitable manner always upholding Chuck E. Cheese’s and Peter Piper Pizza’s core values.

•   Perform quality investigations to ensure timely assessment of facts and liability by obtaining video/photos, interview statements, medical authorizations, records and expense documentation.

•   Interview and work with guests, Cast Members, Restaurant and District Managers, landlords, attorneys and vendors to help ensure complete and factual information is gathered on a timely basis. 

•   Utilize Origami (claims management system) to properly document claim files.  Maintain accurate, complete and professional notes and claim file documentation.  Manage assigned claims using a diary/task system and act with due diligence to manage case backlog.    

•   Determine and set appropriate liability exposures.  Working with the Risk Manager to set realistic reserves based on the facts of the case and anticipated outcome.  Negotiate settlements with guests to reach an amicable resolution.  Where needed, execute proper legal releases to ensure CEC is protected when settling General Liability claims.

•  Oversee worker’s compensation claims, by communicating with the employee, providers and the TPA to assure timely handling of leaves and restrictions.

•   Accurately process and ready expense documentation related to claims for entry into the review and approval process.

•   Assist with the CRISIS HOTLINE on assigned weeks (including weekends).  This involves taking Netclaim calls, determining whether Public Relations needs to be involved and communicating a summary of the incident to Senior Management via text.

•   Assist on projects assigned to the Company’s Internal Audit department. 

•   Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

Customer Service or Guest Relations experience with a progressive organization. 0-3 years of experience with General Liability and litigated claims end-to-end required.   Experience in a self-insured environment is a plus. Multi Line adjuster’s license required or obtained within first year. Organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to multi-task. Exceptionally strong communication and math skills. Ability to work closely with team members in a friendly and engaging manner. Proficient with MS Office and Outlook. Bilingual preferred.
