Overview As the Claims Advocate, you will be a part of the Western Region Claims Team, providing Gallagher clients with outstanding claims service and advocacy, maintaining and exceeding the service standards of the GGB Gallagher Claims Division. How you'll make an impact Intake of Commercial and Personal Lines client’s new claims and reporting to the insurance company Provide Claims assistance as required to the insureds in a professional and compassionate manner Communication with adjusters and insureds with respect to open claims Liaison between insured and insurance carrier during settlement negotiations when required Advocacy on claims on client’s behalf with insurers as necessary Data input using EPIC and DMS system Maintain, organize and update client files, including Word summaries and Excel spreadsheets Attend company sponsored seminars and educational activities needed to maintain product knowledge and expertise, and participate in projects at management’s request About you Minimum 5 years insurance and/or Claims experience required Alberta, Manitoba and BC broker licenses or ability to acquire within 3 months CAIB, CIP designations an asset or courses completed towards designations Client service and/or advocacy experience an asset Completion of post-secondary education an asset Comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills Excellent time management and organization skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office products Experience with EPIC an asset #LI-SS1 #LI-HYBRID Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
