Position Specific Description

This position is responsible for handling Bodily Injury and Property Damage Claims asserted against the company.  The position involves being “on call” which requires response to critical claims outside of normal business hours.
 
Preferred qualifications include:
•    Experience handling large losses, injury and property damage, including commercial properties
•    Experience in all aspects of handling litigated cases
•    Demonstrated skills in investigation, negotiation and evaluation
•    Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
•    Ability to work independently and  handle multiple tasks simultaneously
•    Experience in all aspects of handling litigated cases   
•    Strong investigative skills. 
•    6-20 or 5-20 Florida Adjuster’s License 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

•    Bilingual is a plus

Job Overview

This job is responsible for handling personal injury and major property damages claims asserted by or against the company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•   Investigates, evaluates and negotiates satisfactory settlements of personal injury and major property damage claims
•   Provides support and assistance to company attorneys throughout the claims litigation process, including court testimony
•   Performs other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
•  Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
•  High School Grad / GED
•  Experience: 4+ yearsPreferred Qualifications
