Join Staples as a Claims Associate and be a part of our integrated strategic claims oversight team. With Staples being a business-to-business company, you’ll be the vital link that helps us thrive. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks, and has a knack for problem-solving.
**What you’ll be doing:**
+ Work as part of an integrated strategic claims oversight team responsible for:
+ Workers Compensation Support
+ Review all new incidents reported
+ Evaluate and generate claims when appropriate
+ Tie incidents to the TPA claims feed
+ Triage all new incidents including investigations with the business
+ Manage all report only and medical only claims to conclusion
+ Coordinate return to work process including job offers, pay, documentation of status in RMIS system
+ Documentation for Reasonable Accommodation requests
+ Track and document disability periods in RMIS system
+ Track and document litigation data in RMIS system
+ Workforce planning utilizing ODG guidelines and other resources
+ Manage WC Claims data for OSHA reporting
+ Communicate with various stakeholders
+ Assist with HR tickets
+ Manage team mailboxes as requested
+ Document all activity in RMIS system
+ RMIS Support including management of claims data and tracking of claim KPI’s
+ Automobile and General Liability Support as needed
+ Other tasks as required
**What you bring to the table:**
+ Good communication skills to be able to coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders and business partners
+ Ability to work independently
+ Ability to prioritize tasks
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
**What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:**
+ 1-2 years of business experience, preferably insurance-related
