\nAs the Claims Department Manager, you will lead a complex medical claim processing team, overseeing daily tasks, setting priorities, and coordinating activities to ensure timely completion. Leveraging your leadership experience, you'll guide and mentor team members, driving performance and adherence to company policies and procedures. Your expertise will significantly impact the team's effectiveness, fostering efficiency and driving operational success.
\nResponsibilities
\nManaging a claims processing department to effectively and efficiently meet service level agreements.
\nInteracting with Department of Health and Human Services personnel concerning claims processing functions.
\nDriving special projects for corporate, operational, or client initiatives.
\nEnsuring that stated quality objectives are consistently achieved.
\nUpdating various performance and status reports.
\nProviding active leadership for the staff of the claims processing department.
\nConducting counseling sessions with employees who are not meeting the minimum requirement for their position.
\nAdministering annual performance reviews with employees.
\nRequirements
\nHave three years of experience working in a healthcare support organization.
\nPossess excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
\nAble to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
\nShow excellent client relationship skills.
\nDemonstrate leadership experience, effectively guiding and mentoring team members.
\nDisplay understanding and application of concepts in medical claims processing and basic knowledge of other disciplines.
\nBachelor's degree preferred.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The approximate compensation for this position is $55-65k per year.
