How you'll make an impact This position is a 100% outsourced claims and claims data management position available for a single client. Both the client and the brokerage team are 100% remote. Claims Expertise Experience in handling litigated files, arbitration, and mediations. Contribute as Subject Matter Expert to effectively present and discuss facts of loss and present opinions on value and strategy in roundtable discussions with peers, TPA, and client. Ability to implement aggressive claims handling strategies. Experience with waiver related claims is a positive. Own relationship with TPAs to ensure the claims philosophy of the client is being upheld and the most favorable outcome for the client is pursued. Proactively monitors claim trends and shares results for discussion and business strategy / budgeting. Facilitates regular meeting with client and TPA to ensure client is up to date on all upcoming claims proceedings. Implement strategies and practices to enhance existing programs and remain current with the latest applicable industry safety trends Develops and maintains scheduled reporting with client based on needs / roles. Assist client with management reporting related to claims data for quarterly and monthly reviews. Develop reports, including claims analytics, that concisely share information and amend as needed based on analysis and feedback from client. Ability to manage GL and Excess GL carrier claims relationships Analysis Skills Project Management experience with setting up RMIS system – expectation to take on leading role in supporting the planning and implementation. With implementation, expectation is to be a super user of the RMIS system (Riskonnect). Ability to review data and create Excel, PowerPoint or Word related documents. Client will require proficiency in Excel, preferably advanced skills, including experience with manipulation, evaluation, and analysis of data outlier reports. Ability to develop presentations, including key performance indicators (KPIs), best practice metrics, and dashboards. Experience in claim control rationalization and flowcharting claims workflows and procedures. Also, analyze current workflows and suggest changes to optimize the entire claim process. Ability to analyze and divide claims data as requested. Ability to communicate loss trends and key factors to minimize future losses. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present data Experience with Salesforce (administration) About You Required: Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience; 5 years' related experience in claims. Solid understanding of claim and coverage issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid understanding and working ability to use all claims and business related software.
