Under general supervision, this position investigates, evaluates, and negotiates favorable resolutions to Auto Liability, General Liability and Product Liability .  Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years related work experience.

Manages litigated claims by working closely with our internal Legal Department and outside legal counsel.Identifies the need for engagement of experts in the field of accident reconstruction, engineering, forensics, etc. Responsible for timely and appropriate evaluation of reserves in compliance with company standards. Negotiates settlements with third party claimants or their legal counsel. Documents all activity in the claims database and maintains an effective diary system.Reports claims to our Third Party Administrator and monitors their activity. Communicates outcomes and strategies with field partners. Conducts analysis of claim trends for Senior Management.Collaborates with the Safety Department and field personnel during claim investigations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field.5+ years related experience.Must have Auto Liability, General Liability and Product Liability claims handling experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.Experience or prior training in customer service.Ability to learn and comprehend the technical components of propane and propane systems. Efficient keyboarding skills.Must be detail oriented and possess organization skills.Enhanced computer skills, ie Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel.Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United StatesApplicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
