**Claims Examiner** Adecco is assisting one of their top clients with their search to fill a **Claims Examiner** **in Pasadena, California:** · $50 p/hr · Remote CA · M-F 8:30 am – 4:30 pm **Responsibilities** + **Workers' Compensation:** A form of insurance providing wage replacement and medical benefits to employees injured in the course of employment. + **Claims Management:** The process of handling insurance claims from start to finish, including investigation, adjustment, and settlement. + **Negotiation Skills:** The ability to reach agreements with others effectively during disputes or transactions. + **Litigation Process:** Involves handling legal disputes that may arise during claim processing, often requiring collaboration with legal professionals. + **Cost Containment Techniques:** Strategies used to control costs associated with insurance claims without compromising service quality. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree + **SIP Certification** + **Experience:** 3 years of California WC experience. **This position is managed by one of Adecco’s National Recruitment Teams, not your local branch.
