Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation
**Position: Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation** **Location:** Remote **Duration :3+ months** **Pay Rate: $45/hr on W2** **We are looking for a** **Claims Examiner** **to join one of our Fortune 500 clients** **Primary Purpose:** Manage complex workers' compensation claims, including high-exposure and litigated cases, ensuring timely adjudication, cost containment, and compliance with industry best practices and client requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** **Claims Management:** + Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims. + Develop action plans for timely resolutions and negotiate settlements. + Calculate reserves and pay benefits within statutory limits. + Prepare and submit state filings. **Litigation & Cost Containment:** + Manage litigation processes for cost-effective outcomes. + Coordinate vendor referrals and cost containment strategies. + Manage claim recoveries, including subrogation and Medicare offsets. **Communication & Reporting:** + Report claims to excess carriers and handle inquiries professionally. + Maintain claim file documentation and communicate activity to stakeholders. + Build and maintain strong client relationships. **Additional Responsibilities:** + Support organizational quality programs. + Travel as required. **Qualifications:** **Education & Certification:** + Bachelor’s degree preferred. + Relevant professional certification preferred. **Experience:** + 5+ years of claims management experience, with expertise in NC and SC workers' compensation laws and regulations. **Skills & Knowledge:** + Strong understanding of workers' compensation principles and practices. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management systems. + Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. + Typing speed of 40-50 WPM and ability to adapt quickly to new systems. **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship.** If you’re interested, please click **“Apply”** button.
