HomeSafe Alliance is the single global household goods movement manager of over 300,000 Military Household Goods moves per year for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families.

HomeSafe Alliance is seeking highly skilled and motivated Claims Manager to assist in all aspects of claims management, to support and promote process improvement methodologies and best practices that enhance claims service.

The Claims Manager role is a remote opportunity that involves reviewing and evaluating claims, developing, and implementing policies and procedures, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Strong leadership, organizational, and communications skills are essential for success in this role.

Position Description/Job Responsibilities 

Manage the operations of the claims department to meet operational, financial, and service requirements.Supervise, train, and direct employees in the areas of their responsibilities.Assure timely and proper disposition of claims based on policy provisions.Overseeing the entire claims process from start to finish.Determining the validity of claims based on the specific guidance and parameters.Reviewing and approval of settlement amounts for escalated claims.Manage negotiations of settlements and administration of claims in dispute.Analyze claims data and prepare reports on claim trends and performance.Identify and resolve challenges and issues related to claims processing.Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in claims management or related fieldExperience within GHG Military Move is highly preferredMust be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.Self-starter/proactive, expected to take initiative to research issues and provide solutions.Ability to deliver under tight deliverable deadlines.Leadership capability and excellent communication, presentation, verbal, and written skillsMust have the ability to work well with others (both within the team and cross-functionally)Must be proficient using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of Costpoint and EPM preferred.

Note: This position is fully remote / work from home. HomeSafe will supply appropriate needed equipment. Employee provided high speed internet is required.
