C.H. Robinson is seeking a dedicated Claims Representative to join our team. In this role you will act as a liaison between corporate and network offices, process new claims, and ensure timely claims settlements. You will monitor and respond to communications with a customer service mindset, resolve daily issues, and identify potential risks. Additionally, you will assist customers with carrier arrangements and build strong working relationships with all stakeholders. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Act as a liaison between corporate and network offices to gather information for claim responses
Process new claims, disseminate to appropriate carriers, and enter claim settlements
Monitor and respond to emails and voicemails with a customer service mindset
Resolve daily issues and bring them to resolution
Identify and escalate risks on pending claims and litigation
Assist customers with carrier arrangements, salvage goods, and schedule inspections
Build strong working relationships with customers, carriers, insurance companies, and the office network
Maintain excellent task management for proper follow-up and resolution on each claim
Perform other duties as assigned according to team and country-specific requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 1-year previous customer service or claims experience
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Previous transportation experience
Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking
Team player who can also produce independent results
Possesses strong detail orientation
Strong customer service focus
Solutions focus mindset as this role will be providing answers to the C.H. Robinson network, customers and carriers on assigned cargo claims portfolio
