About the role:
\nAs a Claims Representative with TQL, you will be a vital part of the company’s risk management and loss prevention efforts. You will be responsible for managing an evolving portfolio of cargo claims, resolving them through customer, carrier, and insurance outreach. This role requires a high attention to detail, customer service, and investigative mentality to ensure we continue to have the best Claims team in the industry.

What you'll be doing:
\n\nResearch reported claims and determine validity of the claim\nManage the documentation and submission process of each claim in your portfolio\nDiligently follow up on claims and insurance companies on behalf of TQL and our customers\nCollect all necessary documents and information to file, investigate and help resolve claims\nContact carriers, insurance companies, salvage companies and internal/external customers regarding claims made by customers, receivers, or shippers\nWork with Accounting and Collections staff to resolve carrier and customer accounting issues related to claims\n\n
What you need:
\n\nExperience in claims, insurance, fraud or other related field preferred \nStrong, independent decision-making skills while maintaining great relationships with the sales department\nAbility to work quickly and handle requests\nCapable of meeting multiple deadlines occurring at the same time\nAbility to prioritize various requests and handle changing priorities\nExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail\nGood communication skills\nStrong customer service orientation\nFocused, positive attitude\n\n
