Claims Review Project Supervisor
The CRST Project Supervisor – specific duties and responsibilities include: + Assist Claim Review Support Team Project Manager in all aspects of Claim Review Support Team management. + Coordinate tasks and responsibilities of the 14+ team members on the Claim Review Support Team, including: + Identify daily team priorities and communicate expectations of priorities to team members. This involves monitoring various claim statuses or queues and identifying claims assignable within the Special Master’s guidance. + Determine individual team member capacity and reassign members to high priority tasks, while maintaining coverage of other CRST tasks. + Serve as the VCF point of contact for the DOJ Public Safety Officer Benefits (PSOB) program data validation requests. Coordinate with the CMS team for report generation, review validation match report, compile newly validated data, and retrieve identified Eligibility Determination Letters for submission to the PSOB. + Coordinate with the CMS team to ingest PSOB determination data and add “PSOB Match” claim categories. + Compile data to provide daily determination entry numbers to the Lead Project Manager. + Work with Claim Review Team Leads on weekly Eligibility-Only claim review assignments to SMO’s for claims produced for approval. + Update SharePoint site as needed, including revising and updating processes and SOPs in compliance with the contractual Service Level agreements. + Update the Claim Review Support Team’s daily reporting sheets to account for additional data points necessary for reporting. + Provide guidance to all team members on numerous tasks and processes, including guidance on proper actions to take on non-routine scenarios. + Assist in responding to emails sent by team members that raise questions in specific CRST areas, thereby avoiding the need to be elevated to the CRST Project Manager. Determine which questions are appropriate to raise for all team members’ awareness and discussion in weekly CRST Office Hours meetings. **Competencies** + Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT (moderate risk public trust) facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location. + Advanced skills in analyzing large volumes of data and manipulating data to produce desired counts, statistics, and other outputs. + Highly skilled in producing a variety of reports (type, format, etc.) that reflect an understanding of the “audience”/users of the reports. + Thorough knowledge of tasks, task objectives, and the context of those tasks in the claim review lifecycle. + Highly collaborative nature and comfortable coordinating across teams and with various managers, supervisors, and team members. + Comfortable working in an environment with high volume inputs, outputs, and deadlines. + Passionate about attention to detail, deadlines, and work quality. + Highly organized, able to multi-task, prioritizes tasks, and consistently and accurately performs detailed work under pressure without compromising quality. + Proactively identifies issues that impact claim review coordination and proposes alternate solutions to address issues. + Excellent written and oral communication capabilities. + Demonstrated success overseeing the work of others, mentoring staff, and providing feedback and corrective direction when needed. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Business, Accounting, Data Management or Statistics, with a minimum of 3 years’ related experience or 3 years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects; paralegal certificate preferred. Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for the degree requirement. + Successfully held positions such as Data Analyst, Accounting Clerk, Senior Paralegal. + Highly proficient with MS Excel ( _intermediate user or higher_ ), MS Access, and other Microsoft Office suite products. + Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support activities. + Proven ability to supervise staff and manage the work of team members, including planning, monitoring workflow, reporting progress, and identifying, training, and assigning staff. + Experience developing and delivering training sessions. + Experience in claim management or processing environments, particularly having worked with a claim management system. + Experience in government programs preferred. **Reporting Relationships** + Reports to the Claim Review Support Team Project Manager.
