We are looking for a Claims Payer/Processer to join our team. This candidate would be responsible for responding to inquiries from medical service providers and maintaining efficient communication with them via email and written correspondence to collect and verify necessary documentation to support payment requests. The candidate will manage the timely and accurate processing of all received medical bills, and handle the scanning and indexing of medical notes and bills into the claims program. Additionally, the role involves mailing processed bills to clients for payment.  Attention to detail is a must.  

Your Impact:

Responds to inquiries from medical service providers.Contact medical providers (via e-mail, written correspondence) to collect and verify substantiating materials to support payment request.Verify that diagnosis, procedures and prescription information coincide with injury reported.To maintain a timely and accurate turnaround timeframe for all medical bills received.Scan and index medical notes/bills etc. into the ALYCE system.Mail processed bills to clients for payment.

Successful Candidate Will Have:

Graduation from high school or GED equivalentKnowledge of medical terminology.Secondary training, education or knowledge in medical billing procedures.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with Excel and Word
