How you’ll make your mark As a Claims Support Coordinator, you can make a world of difference to our policyholders in the moments when they need you the most; from helping them deal with holiday losses, to catastrophic events like accidents, fires and hurricanes. Your main task will be to deal with their claim documents and assigning new claims or activities to our team’s Adjusters for them to process. No two days are ever the same in this genuinely interesting and varied role. You’ll be communicating regularly with customers and third parties as you assess and take decisions on the evidence of their claims. Other key responsibilities will include: + Processing different basic claim activities, such as maintaining assignation databases + Uploading documents to the system, processing payments to insured, etc. + Reporting complaints and compliments received via email or phone What you’ll need to succeed Experience of insurance operations, claims or a related area would be useful, but is not essential as you’ll be given a thorough induction and on-going training. Crucially, you’ll need the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (with Portuguese a plus). You’ll have an analytical mindset, be well-organized, great at determining priorities and making decisions, and comfortable carrying out tasks independently.
