This role is responsible for management of Workers Compensation claims. Day to day work includes lodgment of new claims, triaging of inbound documents, raising payments to injured workers and/or suppliers, and claim finalization. This role is also responsible for keeping portfolios compliant to SLA measurements.

Day to day work includes lodgment of new claims, triaging of inbound documents, raising payments to injured workers and/or suppliers, and claim finalization. This role is also responsible for keeping portfolios compliant to SLA measurements.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Ensure compliance with QBE policies, procedures and relevant legislations and regulations 
• Ensure compliance within delegated authority limits
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders
• Raise payments for valid invoices and within authority limits 
• Triage emails to correct claims handlers 
• Action claims activities within predefined timeframes
• Make contact with another party to clarify contents of an invoice/ document 
• Ensure all required documents are complete before a hand-off to the next team
