We have an outstanding opportunity to lead a multifaceted and ambitious team in our Claims Division. As a Claims manager, you will provide first-line supervision, support, and mentoring to your team members, helping them realise their potential and develop their skills. You will play an important role in maintaining a positive and inclusive team culture where everyone can thrive.

Responsibilities:

Support and implement operational strategy, policy and procedures to optimise the Claims service.

Identify process bottlenecks and work with Claims Operations and Business Performance Manager to resolve.

Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing the Claims team and liaising with HR, L&D and Broking teams where necessary.

Provide regular reports to Claims Operations on team performance, using tools available including and not limited to data and dashboards.

Work closely with the Client Servicing team to gain feedback on your team and help drive client service.

An analytical yet approachable standout colleague, keen to build sustainable relationships with team and clients alike.

Experience & Professional Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a team leader or managerial role leading a team within the specialist commercial claims insurance market.

Qualified to a minimum of Cert CII.

Track record of delivering results and meeting/exceeding targets whilst keeping client focus.

Insurance brokerage background with commercial experience.

Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office products.

Knowledge:

Understanding of general and legal principles of insurance and knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
