Equitable is seeking an influential and dynamic Claims Training & Process Specialist to join our Disability and Absence Claims organization. This role will play a critical part in overseeing the design, development, and delivery of job aids, SOPs, correspondence and training programs.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
+ **Training Program Innovation:** Design and implement innovative training programs using the latest educational technologies. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback. Adapt training materials to meet the evolving needs of the organization and regulatory changes.
+ **Process Optimization:** Develop claims process workflows to reduce inefficiencies. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve processing times.
+ **Knowledge Management:** Establish quality assurance protocols for all training materials and SOPs. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards. Develop corrective action plans to address any identified deficiencies.
+ **Technology Integration:** Lead the integration of new technologies into existing claims processes. Ensure seamless adoption of digital tools by providing comprehensive training and support. Monitor technology performance and user feedback to make necessary adjustments.
+ **Compliance:** Create and maintain a correspondence library, policies and procedures. Create and maintain new hire and ongoing training across products where needed. Work closely with internal partners to ensure all claims processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
+ **Performs other duties as assigned.**
The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$80,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
+ 3 years of experience in Employee Benefits / Group Insurance claims
+ 3 years of leading process management, policies/procedures, and/or training program development/delivery
+ Experience in training delivery, process improvement, and knowledge management
+ Exceptional knowledge of insurance industry regulations, policies and procedures
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and an ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects and tasks.
+ Demonstrated success in leading large-scale change management initiatives
+ Ability to travel based on business need (up to 25%)
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Strong understanding of technology and industry trends
+ Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
+ Comfortable dealing with complexity and ambiguity and able to explore multiple solutions
+ Previous experience with FINEOS Claims software platform
