Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for our Portsmouth, NH team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. 

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

This position reports to Transportation Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Portsmouth, NH.

Responsibilities: 

Pick up and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous waste and materials with a focus on customer service.   Complete your own paperwork (manifests, logs, books of landing)   Assist Dispatcher, as requested.   Show determination/eagerness to learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices.   Develop an understanding of DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations and TEI's Health and Safety Practices.   Routinely perform pre- and post-trip inspections. Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor trailers, tankers, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities. 
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition. 
Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations. 
Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately 
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services. 
Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed. 
Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials 
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills. 

Basic Requirements: 

High School Diploma or equivalent required   Basic knowledge of (or interest in) the hazardous waste field   Self-motivated with the desire to learn   Successful completion of OSHA/ DOT physical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening   Availability and willingness to drive overnight for waste and drum pick-ups   This is a Safety Sensitive Position   Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. 
Active Hazmat endorsement 
Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
Must have a reliable form of transportation 
Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC) 
Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment 
Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis 
Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship 

Preferred Requirements: 

Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required. 
Previous experience in environmental services or related field 
Active Tanker endorsement
