The **Senior Driver Technician** is responsible for the safe operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle to transport materials and/or equipment from one location to another. This role also performs field service activities at customer sites, including proactive system troubleshooting and service work involving mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment. The technician identifies and resolves safety issues related to both company and customer-owned systems, working in a manner that ensures both safety and efficiency. The role requires direct customer interaction and may include assignments across multiple systems, locations, or customer accounts.

**Driving Requirements:**
This position requires the completion and submission of the following:
+ Driver Application for Employment
+ Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
+ Required Forms:
+ Driver Disclosure and Release
+ Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement
+ FMCSA Certificate of Awareness
+ Driver Certificate of Violations
+ Driver Statement of On Duty Hours
+ Road Test
+ Copy of Driver’s License
+ Copy of Medical Certificate
+ **Division-specific requirements to be added as needed**
**Education & Experience Requirements:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Class A CDL
+ 2–5 years of relevant technical work experience (preferably industrial or commercial process water)
+ Clean driving record
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
+ Ability to obtain all required customer site clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA)
+ Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight and cross-border travel with a valid passport
**Skills & Competencies:**
+ Strong electrical, mechanical, diesel, or HDPE fusion experience
+ Proven ability to work without direct supervision
+ Technically sound and comfortable with troubleshooting complex systems
+ Strong customer service and communication skills
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile smart devices
+ Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
+ Able to synthesize and communicate technical information clearly
+ Ability to operate HDPE fusion equipment to construct pipelines on customer sites and understand how weather affects HDPE fusion and system performance

**Compensation & Benefits**
The estimated salary range for this position is **$24 to $31** , plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
