Shore Point Distributing Company is expanding our team and we have immediate openings for customer-Oriented, motivated individuals to join our Freehold, NJ Team as a CDL Class A Delivery Truck driver.   

Shore Point Distributing is a family-owned beverage distributor located in Freehold N.J. that carries an extensive line of national, regional, and local craft beers. Shore Point Dist. is one of the largest beverage wholesalers in the state.

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

This position requires a valid CDL Class A license.   Able to lift extremely heavy, awkward products to unload from the truck and deliver to multiple customer locations daily.Obtains payment from customer upon delivery.Requires physical work outside under varying weather conditions.Candidates must have an excellent driving record.Maintain compliance within the FMCSA and DOT regulations.Expected to operate the truck in compliance with all state and federal safety and administrative requirements.Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition and validating adherence to road ability standards, completing both Pre and Post Trip inspections.Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches shipping documents and that the products are in good condition before leaving the facility.Develop and maintain a working knowledge of products and inventory.Willing and able to always work safely.Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organizational operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.Maintains delivery, truck and driving records.Overtime required as necessary.

 

Salary: up to $25.48/hour plus commission
