PAY AND SCHEDULE:

Pay: $35.00 - $35.50 per hourSchedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, starting between 4 and 6 a.m., and includes consistent overtime.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes for waste collectionRead route sheets and service customers as directed by the dispatcherPerform routine vehicle inspections and maintenanceHandle physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloadingOperate hydraulic controls for refuse handlingInteract courteously with customers and handle other job-related duties

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Extensive physical activity, including lifting objects over 50 poundsExposure to physical risks, including moving mechanical partsOutdoor work with frequent exposure to weather conditions, fumes, and vibrationModerate noise levels

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsementAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in EnglishHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum two years of relevant experienceBasic knowledge of truck components for inspectionsSafety Sensitive: YES
