Transdev in Woodland, CA is seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician C to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our transit vehicles. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, while adhering to all safety regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities: + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of transit vehicles, including buses, paratransit vehicles, and related equipment. + Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. + Conduct preventative maintenance inspections, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks. + Assist with upgrades and modifications to vehicle systems as needed. + Perform road calls and on-the-road repairs as required. + Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: + High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required. + Maintenance experience with heavy-duty transit equipment (Mechanic C level: less than 2 years). + Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements preferred. (We offer development opportunities for obtaining your license.) + Appropriate Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred. + Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams. + Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including background and drug screening. + Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
