​Position: Classic Car Automotive Technician
 
Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet, 5111 Transit Rd Depew NY 14043

Schedule: Full-time (No Sundays)

Classic Car Automotive Technician Compensation: Between $50,000- $85,000 annually (based on knowledge, experience, and volume)

Classic Car Automotive Technician Job Duties:General mechanical knowledge on classic cars ranging from 1940’s - early 2000’s Perform basic breaks, suspension, transmission, and engine services Minor interior trim Electrical repairs Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency/accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended Communicates and works effectively with the parts department to obtain needed parts Communicates with the service advisor if additional work is needed or recommended Accurately documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order Road tests vehicles when required Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of all information provided on manufacturer technical bulletins Ensures that the customer’s car is kept clean Ensures work area is always maintained and cleaned Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner Must have tools
Must have valid NYS Inspectors License
