Classroom Aide Pay rate: $17 hourly JOB SUMMARY As a Classroom Aide at VOA, you would help to provide for all aspects of care and education in a Daycare or Pre-K classroom. Working as a team, Classroom Aides together with Lead and Assistant teachers ensure we are able to meet each child’s individual needs. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES + Assists in providing active, fully engaged supervision of the children at all times. + Provide coverage in any classroom as needed to maintain ratios. + Help to meet each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs. + Assist in maintaining classroom cleanliness and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including state child care licensing regulations, accreditation standards and Pre-Kindergarten standards. + Organize and Implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities under the direction of the classroom teacher, reinforcing educational goals, attending to the individual needs of the children. + Required shift times for Openers are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. + Required shift times for Closers are 9:30 am - 6:00 pm.
