Job Title

Clean Room Associate

Responsible for visually inspecting, cleaning, packaging, and labeling product in a Clean Room Environment. Monitors Clean Room controls, takes appropriate corrective action and is capable of processing parts through the Clean Line unassisted.

• Under minimal supervision, visually inspects and cleans products per procedures including backlighting for cracks, packages and labels product according to customer specifications and established clean room procedures
• Follows established Glove and Gown protocols for Clean Room duties reporting any deviations to appropriate personnel to ensure product non-contamination
• Receives and stages product for manufacturing into Clean Room ensuring optimal product processing
• Accurately operates Clean Room Ovens and monitors Clean Room controls according to work instructions; takes appropriate corrective action when needed
• Maintains cleaning tanks, walls, tables and fixtures in clean room, as well as maintains cleaning equipment including PH, temperature, water resistivity, DI water supply, and measuring and monitoring equipment in compliance with Clean Room procedures
• Understands and complies with customer cleaning and analytical data requirements
• Completes required nonconformance reports ensuring accurate records
• Maintains and enforces entrance procedures of all controlled areas to ensure non-contamination of product; reports non-conformance to appropriate personnel
• Assists other Clean Room personnel in the proper contamination control; seeks to minimize contamination by adhering to established containment procedures
• Understands and competently operates a wide range of handheld inspection tools and precision measuring equipment
• Provides training/cross training in Clean Room processes and procedures; mentors incoming and current Associates in proper performance of Clean Room duties
• Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned
• May work any and all shifts/days as required

Job Requirements:

Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years’ Clean Room experience OR minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience in a clean room environment

Experience:
• Minimum 5 years work experience

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Exhibits strong interpersonal, and organizational skills, great attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
