**Job Title: Clean Room Associate** **Job Description** Machine Operators are responsible for the daily operation and setup of a wide range of equipment, including high-speed automated tablet presses and packager production lines. Perform in-process quality testing and complete the necessary paperwork. Responsible for the efficient production of high-quality effervescent tablets and packaging. **Responsibilities** + Assist machine operators in the clean room while on training + Conduct quality inspections every 30 minutes and take notes + Clean the machines when needed + Undergo training to become a machine operator, which will take 4-6 months **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude, such as hand power tool experience and auto-mechanical experience + Basic math skills + Ability to read and understand English + Capability to lift up to 40lbs on an occasional basis + Ability to wear dust mask, safety shoes, and glasses **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in machine operating is preferred + An auto-mechanical background would be a plus + General production, machine operating, and quality control experience **Why Work Here?** After completing training (4-6 months), there is a raise to $20-22/hr. They supply billions of tablets to major retailers such as Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS. **Work Environment** Work in a clean room environment regulated by the FDA. There is a strong smell of peppermint oil throughout the plant. The temperature and humidity are controlled. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
